Techniques by design
The technique is chosen based on the effect you're after, the fabric and the type of artwork. A single collection can combine several.
Plastisol
Solid ink, dense color and good opacity on dark garments. The base of most production runs.
Water-based
Ink that penetrates the fiber for a soft hand feel and a finish integrated into the garment.
Discharge
Removes the dye from the cotton and re-tints the fiber, giving a vintage, very soft finish.
High-density
A thick layer with a defined edge and flat surface, creating a pronounced raised effect.
Puff
Ink that expands during curing to create a soft, rounded raised effect.
Simulated process
Reproduces photographic images with inks separated by color channel.
Foil
Metallic foil applied over printed adhesive, with a mirror-like shine.
Glitter and metallic
Inks with reflective particles for accents and details.
Glow-in-the-dark
Pigment that charges with light and glows in the dark.

Can I send my own garments?
Yes. Many brands handle construction on their own and outsource only the printing. We need to know the fabric to define ink and curing.
Which technique is right for my design?
It depends on the artwork, the garment color and the finish you're after. With the file and a visual reference we'll recommend the technique and, if useful, a combination.
Can you reproduce the same design in future runs?
Yes. We document the project specifications and aim to keep high consistency across runs, accounting for the variables inherent to each garment, ink and production run.
Can you print photographs or gradients?
Yes, through simulated process or four-color process. The result depends on the file resolution and the garment color.
How is the finish validated before production?
Before the run, we validate the specifications needed for the project: artwork, inks, fabric and curing parameters. The scope of validation is defined per project.
Can you combine several techniques on one garment?
Yes. For example, a plastisol base with high-density, or discharge with foil, as long as the curing sequence allows it.
